You will need a copy of your ID, proof of income (most recent salary slip), last 3 months’ bank statements and proof of residence (eg. a utility bill).

What is the vaccination procedure for dogs?

Puppies should receive their first vaccination at 6-8 weeks followed by a second vaccination 4 weeks later.

A third vaccination is given at 16 weeks and from here it is an annual booster.

What is the vaccination procedure for cats?

A kitten should receive its first vaccination at 12 weeks followed by second vaccination at 16 weeks. Here after it is a yearly booster.

Can I get pre-approved, before taking my pet into the vet?

Yes, we can approve your loan application before you get help at the vets.

This will help take the stress out of thinking where you are going to find the money once you know that the final costs are.

How often should I worm my pet?

Kittens should be wormed every 4,6,8 & 12 weeks. From 12 weeks the cat should then be wormed every 3 months.

If your cat is pregnant, treat at mating and every 3 weeks during pregnancy and while nursing.

Puppies should be wormed at 2,4,8 and 12, weeks from there every 3 months.

If your dog is pregnant treat prior to mating, 10 days before and 4 weeks after whelping.

In the event of Hydatid Tapeworm – worm every 6 weeks (only if required)

How old does my cat/dog need to be before I can desex it?

It is ideal that your pet is over the age of 5-6 months and not on heat.

Do the loan fees need to be paid upfront?

We do not require a deposit.

All of our fees are worked in to your loan repayments and do not need to be paid up front, this make getting a loan with us super simple.
